The Barrio Suite

The Barrio Suite is the closest suite in the hearts of the Filipinos. This suite depicts the simple life during the pre-colonial and the colonial period of the Filipinos. From the body of simple life to a grandise enthusiastic atmosphere.

The Isla dance company's Barrio Suite includes the famous Philippine Folk Dances such as:

• Sala ti Mais
• Gaud
• Maglalatik
• Segsilew
• Pandango Oasiwas
• Tinikling

But that's not all. The Barrio Suite also include community singing of the Philippine serenade of Funny Pinoy Songs and Originally composed folk songs and Philippine folk song that is sung by the company's resident maestro. The Barrio Suite would be highlighted with the company's signature dance the "Tinikling" and would be participated by the audience at the end of the show.
